RESEARCHER PROFILE NETHERLANDS
PhD Candidate
University of Twente / DACS
Cybersecurity at the infrastructure layer, using Internet measurement to study routing security and resilience.

The Internet depends on infrastructure most people never see: interdomain routing, measurement systems, and the trust mechanisms behind HTTPS.
I am a PhD candidate in the Design and Analysis of Communication Systems (DACS) group at the University of Twente. My research interests center on Internet security and resilience, particularly routing security and Internet measurement.
My MSc research used Internet-scale measurements to study domain validation reuse in the Web PKI and led to an accepted paper at WTMC 2026. I hold an MSc in Computer Engineering and a BSc in Automation Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, Italy.
My work and interests span Internet measurement, routing security, network resilience, and the Web PKI.
Interested in how routing affects the security of Internet infrastructure.
Using measurements to understand the behavior and reliability of Internet infrastructure.
Interested in the availability of networks and distributed Internet services.
Studied certificate issuance and domain validation practices in the Web PKI.
